Well, hello. I can't remember the last time I paid a regular, i.e. non-classroom driven, Monday visit. A few things interesting to me these days:
• Earthquakes! Heavy news year, so far, on the topic. Great site of a consortium sponsored by the National Science Foundation.
• Jamie Oliver's food revolution - His view that people is that it makes people less healthy not to know about cooking. Some folks see Oliver cynically, but one would be hard put to find another food personality who has tried to do as much good in as many ways as he has.
• Today is the anniversary of the death of Charles Darwin: It seems to me absurd to doubt that a man may be an ardent Theist & an evolutionist. About his own beliefs, which he described in response to a question sent to him, I think that generally (& more and more so as I grow older) but not always, that an agnostic would be the most correct description of my state of mind.
